Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a time limit or a deadline for my projects?
No, there is not a deadline set for projects. The intent is to apply what you have learned as soon as possible. A practical limit is two years.
If I am unemployed, how do I do a project?
You can post a specific resume on our web site indicating that you are interested in doing a project for a company. Or, you can find a company on your own that would allow you to join a kaizen event, a project, or work as an intern in their plant or office.
Can I go for certification after I have taken a few courses?
Yes. You must fulfill all the remaining requirements, pay for the courses separately and pay the additional certification fee.
Is there a time limit to finish all the certification requirements?
Yes, we encourage completion within two years. However, you may request an extension for special circumstances.
How do I sign up for a workshop and have it show on my online certification records?
Sign in through your account at www.mfrall.com before you register for a course.
How and when do I write my first project?
Guidelines were sent to you via email when you were first accepted for certification. You were also mailed a certification booklet, which included project guidelines and a project sample. Once you have started the certification, you may start your project at any time that you can demonstrate what you have learned.
