Art Sneen, Founder, started the Manufacturers Alliance in 1990. He has 40 years of experience including positions as General Manager, Manufacturing Services Manager, and Industrial Engineer at small and medium manufacturers. Art has trained for Twin City manufacturing firms, and taught seminars for St. Thomas University and local Technical Colleges. He holds degrees in Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Kirby Sneen, President, has led the Manufacturers Alliance in developing a community of 500 manufacturing member companies over the last 15 years. He continues to form and facilitate benchmarking peer groups, and develop educational seminars and workshops for the purpose of guiding members to create a culture of continuous improvement. Jim Drennen, Industry Advisor, has enjoyed a business career spanning 37 years in various management positions including Vice President/General Manager, Division Manager, Marketing Director and Materials Manager. Jim earned his B.S. from Heidelberg University and an MBA from the University of Toledo. He serves as adjunct faculty at The College of St. Scholastica, teaching courses in strategic leadership for change, Internet marketing, and marketing strategy. Jim is certified CPIM through APICS. The Manufacturers Alliance Board of Advisors provides strategic direction and advice to the leadership of the Association. It helps ensure the current and future needs of local manufacturing member companies are met by shaping the training, education, and resources the Association offers. The Board includes key leaders and executives that work in and support different industry sectors of local manufacturing.
